About We Havent Left Yet Adventours

Where Have We Been ...

I've been doing group tours since 1979, starting with New Zealand, Australia and the UK with my ladies rugby team. I started our annual group trips to Cabo San Lucas in the late 80's. That's probably one of our favorite "close" Mexican Riviera vacation spots. We don't mind that it's growing. We like it that a guy will deliver Dominoes Pizza to your room on a bike now. I've always been involved with the sport of Over-The-Line, and when I saw that massive beach on the ocean side of the Finesterra Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, I told myself "What a great place to hold a small tournament! We should start taking groups down here!" Hence, the trips started. After three years in a row to Cabo, someone suggested we try someplace new and different. So, we branched out and the "adventours" started.

So far, we've been to:

Cabo San Lucas - 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1994, 1995

Puerto Vallarta - 1991, 1998

Cancun - 1992

Ixtapa-Zijuantenejo - 1993

Mazatlan - 1996

Costa Rica - 1996

Cozumel - 1997

Mexican Riviera Cruise - 1999

Australia - 2000 (for the Olympics)

Bahamas - 2001

Kauai & Maui - 2002 (1st Halloween in Lahaina)

Oahu & Maui - 2003 (Halloween in Lahaina)

Maui - 2004 & 2005 (Halloween in Lahaina)

Jamaica - 2004

Belize - 2006

UK & France - 2007

Maui - 2008

Circle Hawaii Cruise - 2009

Cozumel is our favorite Caribbean spot. Our first trips to Cabo had 12 persons, 25 persons, and 36 persons, respectively. Each year, growing; because of word-of-mouth that our trips were reasonably priced and so much fun! Then our trips seemed to average about 40-50 persons. But there was one time we went back to Cabo with 100 funsters!

We always try to find the best deals, with the most rewards, and keep our costs down for everyone. At first, I paid the same as everyone else to go on these trips. Then I realized this was work, and got smart enough to arrange it with the tour companies and hotels to at least get my portion "comped". But now, even THAT's hard to do anymore, as the hotels and airlines are getting stingey-er and stingey-er. Since 9/11 and internet competition, I do not do individual travel anymore, but might still be talked into doing an occasional, fun, group trip somewhere exotic, if the price and timing are right. And if my friends beg me hard enough. Watch LATEST TRIPS button for anything new!
